You can add custom charts into existing views to dynamically monitor specific metrics of target resource objects.
Prerequisite
The number of charts in the monitoring view should be fewer than 20.
Procedure
Copy to monitoring view: You can add this chart to other monitoring views after copying.
Edit: You can modify the chart name, resource type, metric, chart mode, and chart type, and other settings.
Select the display mode for the chart. There are two modes available:
Specific object
Select one or more resource objects to monitor from the Resource object drop-down list. You can select up to ten resource objects.
Top N object
The chart will dynamically display N resource objects with the highest or lowest average metrics within the last 2 hours. N can range from 2 to 10.
Select Line chart or Stacked area chart as the chart type. You can preview the chart in the Preview section.
Additionally, you can modify the auto-generated chart name in the Preview section; however, once modified, the chart name will no longer be automatically updated with the resource type and metrics.
Click Create to finish creating the custom chart.
You can view the newly created custom chart in the view. By hovering over the … icon in the upper-right corner of the chart, you can also edit, duplicate, export, or delete the chart.
