Configuring network load balancer

The load balancer virtual machines are deployed in the same cluster as Arcfra network controllers by default.

1. Select the number of load balancer virtual machines to deploy.

2. Choose the configuration for load balancer virtual machines based on the number of virtual services and backend servers you plan to manage.

3. Batch configure the management IP address, subnet mask, and gateway for the load balancer virtual machines.

   • Start IP address: (Optional) Based on the IP address allocation table provided by the network administrator, enter the starting management IP address for load balancer virtual machines. The system will automatically assign consecutive management IP addresses for all load balancer virtual machines based on this IP address.

   • Subnet mask: Enter the subnet mask for load balancer virtual machines' management IP addresses.

   • Gateway: Enter the gateway address for load balancer virtual machines.

4. Set up the VLAN and IP address for each load balancer virtual machine separately.

   • VLAN: Select the VLAN used by the load balancer virtual machines' management network.
   • IP address: If the starting management IP address has been set in step 3, the IP address displayed here is the management IP address automatically assigned by the system. You can also manually enter the management IP address assigned to each load balancer virtual machine based on the IP address allocation table provided by the network administrator.
